New Roof and Gutters - Norman, OK

This lovely Norman home had lots of hail damage to the roof and gutters.  You can see in the picture where the hail really beat the gutters.  John worked with the homeowner and their insurance to make sure everything was back to its original shape.  The shingles they chose are GAF Timberline HDZ in weathered wood.

New Roof - Norman, OK

The storm that came through Norman this spring didn't just damage roofs and gutters.  Some landscaping was so damaged it had to go.  Of course, an October ice storm might have had something to do with it.  Aaron worked with this homeowner and his insurance to get his roof and gutters replace.  They chose GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in weathered wood and meanwhile they did some tree removal.  This beautiful home really looks great now.

Norman, OK Tarped, boarded and waiting on windows

Norman has been hit by 2 hail storms this year and it has been a challenge to get everything repaired and back to normal.  Aaron worked with this homeowner and their insurance to get their roof gutters and windows replace.  Two out of three ain't bad.  We went out and tarped the roof and boarded their windows.  Then we replaced their shingles with GAF ArmorShield II shingles in Slate and replaced their gutters. Now the waiting game.  Boarded windows are the norm now in Norman.  It is taking over 6 months to get them if they aren't standard windows.  Soon we'll have this homeowner back to normal.

Norman, OK - New roof, gutters, windows and ridge vent

This lovely home in Norman was battered by the recent hail storm.  Windows were broken, gutters destroyed, vents beat up and the shingles looked like they had been hit with baseball size hail (and they had).  Aaron worked with the homeowner and their insurance to get this all replaced.  The homeowner chose GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in weathered wood, a ridge vent to replace the box vents, and 6" gutters.  Looks great!

Remove several layers of shingles and replace with new roof in Norman, OK

This home had damage from recent hail storms and we went out and placed tarps to keep it from having more damage.  Sometimes you come along a house that didn't tear off the old shingles and added a new layer over them.  This home had a layer of wood shingles then asphalt shingles over that.  We tore off both layers of shingles added new OSB decking and installed GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in shakewood.

Wood shingles replaced with designer shingles in Norman, OK

After two large hail storms in Norman, many homeowners like this one decided to replace their wood shingles with designer shingles.  The pictures show the process of changing types of shingles.  You can see the before picture and the wood shingles. Next, we tear off the old shingles and felt that exposes the decking for wood shingles.  For asphalt shingles, you have to have a solid deck so we installed OSB, place a water barrier and felt then the shingles.  This homeowner chose Certainteed Cedar Crest Impact-resistant shingles in Shadow Gray. These shingles have a slate look and finally, you see that home with its new roof.

Storm Damage - Norman, OK

This stately home in Norman had hail damage, but the wind ripped the shingles off and beat the felt underlay completely off in places.  It also ruined the gutters and turbine vents.

Don worked with the homeowner and their insurance to get the roof, gutters, and downspouts replaced.  They changed the old turbine vents to new sleek ridge vents. The shingles they chose are GAF Timberline HDZ in Charcoal.  Doesn't the new roof look great?

Salesman's Roof Damaged in Hail Storm

The Norman hail storm got our salesman home just like everyone else.  John had to have the roof replaced. He has a mansard roof so the north side and ridges took a real beating.

He chose GAF Timberline HDZ in weathered wood.  We had to replace his gutters and he added a leaf guard.  Now he's all fixed up

Norman, OK - Hail damage - New look

We replaced the roof on this home in February and in April we had baseball size hail ---- So we replaced the roof again.  The last time the shingles the homeowner chose were GAF Armor Shield II in Barkwood, but due to so many houses being damaged they couldn't get them. Since this time the siding, garage door, and gutters had to be replaced they decided to go with a new color.  The shingles they chose are GAF Armor Shield II in charcoal.  They chose a lighter garage door and gutters.  Gives the home a whole new look.  John helps them with getting the house tarped to prevent any more damage.  We are still waiting on windows, (like everyone else in Norman) but they should be here soon,

Hail damage in Norman, OK

This zero-lot line home in Norman was in the recent hail storm.  We don't have many homes around here that have 2 owners and one shared roof so it looks funny to see only half of the roof replaced.

There were several places that the brick had big chunks taken out of it by baseball-size hailstones.  Aaron worked with the homeowner and their insurance to make sure we restored their home.

We replaced gutters, skylights, and GAF Armor Shield II shingles in weathered wood.  The siding will be replaced as soon as we get a shipment due to delays.
